BISMARCK, ND – Dakota Community Bank & Trust’s 80th Anniversary milestone is set for 2020. With that milestone comes a renewed sense of community-first oriented banking, resulting in 2020 being the inaugural year for the Dakota Community Bank & Trust Scholarship Program.
“We are proud to announce a new scholarship opportunity for our area’s youth. We recognize the financial responsibility it takes for a student to continue their education, and we want to promote the importance of doing just that,” says Dakota Community Bank & Trust President Dale Pahlke.
This yearly program is set to award 11 students annually with a post-secondary scholarship. The scholarship is available to North Dakota high school seniors who demonstrate community and/or school involvement and plan to enroll at a university, college, or vocational-technical school full-time in the fall (12 credits or more).
Consideration for this scholarship is based on a point system including participation in extra-curricular activities, school organizations and your local community as well as a brief essay.
